The Miniature Pinscher (also called Zwergpinscher) originated in Germany. They probably descended fro the German Pinscher, possibly with crosses to Dachshunds or Italian Greyhounds. MinPins were bred as ratters and watch dogs.

Description:

Miniature Pinschers are proud and spirited dogs. In the U.S. they are bred to look like tiny Dobermans, but in European lines, they take on a slightly longer look.
