The longhaired mutation occured naturally in Manx litters in the 1960's in the United States. It later became accepted as a variety of Manx or as its own separate breed, the Cymric.

Description:

The Cymrics is identical to the Manx except for its coat. They are intelligent and playful. Their full, double coat requires regular grooming.
