Abyssinian
Real Life
Standards:

,
TICA
History:
The abyssinian was recognized as a true breed in 1882. It has unknown and ancient origins, once called a hare or bunny cat because of their ticking, similar to a wild rabbit's color.
Description:
This gentle breed can be timid around strangers, but bonds tightly to an owner and to other cats. Abyssinians are all ticked tabbies with special terms given to the varieties (ruddy and sorrel, for example).
