This file is an homage to my real rats.
Rats were domesticated in the 1800's as both novelty pets and research animals. Through selective breeding, domestic rats of today are a far cry from their wild ancestors. They are gentle and intelligent animals that are bred in a wide variety of colors and shapes. Rats are highly social animals and thrive on interactions with both their rat and human companions.
